David Clark

1977-2022

Our fellow burner, co-producer, active contributor, master of antics, and generous friend, David, has passed away following his contraction of COVID-19. He was 44 years old.

David was an integral part of our community and held an enormous role in creating our camp. His family understands this, and knows well of David's love for our playa-family and what Burning Man meant to him. His mother has made it clear that our BubLo Headquarters, which was David's home, will continue to be available to us through September so we have a place for our workdays, staging, etc.. Those of us who help create this camp are extremely grateful for this generous gift as it relieves a lot of concerns and uncertainty.

Camp Bubble Lounge will indeed return to Black Rock City this year, bigger and better than ever, and in tribute to our dear friend who left us so unexpectedly and far too soon.

We plan to take a portion of David's ashes to the temple. If you have any ideas about how to contribute to his memory, please reach out. David was a life-of-the-party kind of guy with a laugh that could easily fill an entire room. This is the way we will remember him.

Be Well. Be Safe. Burn Bright!
